This should be a fun class where if by some reason a particular combo shows an advantage a weight well be assessed after a win (by majority rule) to keep parity and close and entertaining racing. All racers must agree to these terms by hand shake. (Kinda a honor among thieves vibe) This class will bring out some of the "old school" hitters off the sideline

One Last thing, My mission statement: To bring heads-up racing to people in the Colorado region.
Therefore, I will not be compared to any other sanctioning bodies or promotors rules. I reserve the right to change or ammend this rule structure at any time as I see fit to maintain parity. I am trying to be fair and provide a place for local racers. I'm an easy guy to talk to. If you don't like these rules, call me. Let's have a conversation, but no whining, bitching or crying. I am at a zero tolerance level for snivelling of any form. Don't even start. Period. Be happy you have a place to race. Otherwise, drive at least twelve hours to the nearest alternative heads up venue. Sorry to be so blunt about this, but either we all play nice or somebody's going home and it's not me. Fair enough?

Thanks again for all of you that have made this what it is. We've had a great run these past seven years.

Valid question. I would like to see the entire program use the same format per day at the track, just to keep things simple. I can check with the tracks to see what they think. But I did intend for everybody to do the same thing at Douglas and Pueblo.

29 x 10.50 slick, 275/60R15 DR or smaller tires allowed

Scotty is this a 29.5 slick? And since Hoosier and Goodyear 30 X 10.5's measure smaller, will they be ok?

Race gas only?

Still talking about Ultimate, so "conventional" heads only for power adder cars, correct?
Backhalf cars ok? Stock frame rail only? Tube chassis? Will the rules say no 4-link?
Just asking, I think you have put a ton of thought and work into this, and I think most will appreciate it.

Dave, are you talking about Ultimate??? If so, I believe that the 29.0x10.5 it the largest slick allowed. We wanted to limit the tire some to possibly slow down the class a bit. I'm sure it's race gas only. Not speaking for Scott, that's just what I recall from the meeting last night.
